When I first came across this fabric, I couldn't stop coming back to it.

There was something about the soft champagne tones mixed with the deep plum that felt effortlessly elegant. It reminded me of the kind of dress that doesn't need to shout to be noticed. 

I paired it with a rich velvet bodice because I wanted to create a beautiful contrast between the softness of the flowing print and the depth of the velvet. The gold trim was the final detail, it brought everything together without taking away from the fabric itself.

Every Katāyoun design begins with the fabric. I spend hours searching for prints that feel special because I believe the right fabric tells its own story before a single stitch is sewn.
